Dada Mail can help you manage a mailing list, offers complete support for safe, closed-loop opt-in subscriptions, sends out mass mailings, keeps an archive of your messages, and allows you to share your messages in many ways. It runs on your Web hosting account and you interact with it through your Web browser, making it available anywhere you have a connection to the Internet. You do not have to rely on a third-party list management system with costly monthly fees. It is rich with features, but tries to keep it simple. It is designed to favor flexibility, extensibility, and ease-of-use over core speed or extremely flashy but hard-to-use features. It is designed to be installed, set up, and understood by regular people who have Web sites, but has enough advanced features to entice more proficient users. If you've ever installed a bulletin board or blog software, you should be able to install Dada Mail without too many problems. Dada Mail can scale. You can install Dada Mail on most any basic hosting account and start sending out messages. If your mailing list grows large, you can switch to sending with a more powerful third-party system, like Amazon SES, where there's potentially no limit on the number of emails you may send, all without having to change mailing list management systems or your hosting.Release Notes: Major features in this release include support for running private mailing lists, abuse reporting, saving subscription dates, advanced searching, and mass updating of subscribers and their related profile field information, as well as a new revision of the manual, now also available as a DRM-free PDF download. Release Tags: Major feature enhancements Tags: Communications, Email, Mailing List Servers, Internet, Web, email marketing Licenses: GPL

docx2txt is a tool that attempts to generate equivalent text files from Microsoft .docx documents, preserving some formatting and document information (which MS text conversion drops) along with appropriate character conversions for a good (ASCII) text experience. It is a platform independent solution consisting of (core) Perl and (wrapper) Unix/Windows shell scripts and a configuration file to control the output text appearance to fair extent. It can very conveniently be used to build a Web based docx document conversion service. Some Makefiles and Windows batch files are provided for easy installation of the scripts. With unzippers like CakeCmd that can deal with corrupt Zip archives, this tool can extract text from corrupt docx documents in many cases, where MS word processor fails to even open them.Release Notes: Adds support for handling lists (bullet, decimal, letter, and roman) along with (an attempt at) indentation. Adds the configuration variable config_twipsPerChar, and removes the configuration variables config_listIndent and config_exp_extra_deEscape. Text output omits deleted text. This matters in case changes are being tracked in a docx document. Release Tags: Major feature enhancements Tags: Text Processing, docx, Conversion Licenses: GPLv3

C-ICAP Classify is a module that allows classification (labeling) of Web pages, images, and soon video based on content. Labels are placed in HTTP headers. Any PIC-Label META tags are exported into HTTP headers. This allows for creation of very flexible filters according to rules defined by the user, using the ICAP enabled proxy's ACLs. It is not a URL filter, so implementing it with sslBump or similar proxy technologies makes it very difficult to bypass. Text classification is done using Fast Hyperspace (based on Hyperspace from CRM114) and/or a Fast Naive Bayes. Image and video (when implemented) use haar feature detection from the OpenCV library.Release Notes: Copyright dates were updated in several files. html.[ch] now better removes HTML. This may speed things up for some pages, and may slow it down for others. It is necessary to retrain your data. You may or may not need to do a full re-stage if you are using the smart training tools. The regex was further modified speed and accuracy. Various fixes were applied to solve bugs and performance issues with stripping HTML/XML wrapping from text. In srv_classify.c, the reg->args zero length check was fixed. XMLFoundation provides a foundation for XML support in an application. However, it is more than just another XML parser. It applies a unique approach to handling XML that allows your application code to focus on the application rather than traversing DOM or subscribing to SAX events. The most unique feature of the XMLFoundation is the object oriented encapsulation that provides XML support in the application layer. XMLFoundation allows you to easily integrate XML with your GUI or with your server objects, and it natively supports COM, DCOM, and CORBA objects.Release Notes: This release has run the Microsoft Code Analysis in MSDev2012, reviewed all output, silenced some warnings, and added a few if(!Null) checks. It adds two new utility classes, GString0, and GString32, and modifies XMLObject and GString for them (see note under [m_pzkTheWord] in [IndexObjects.cpp] about why the new GStrings were created). The MSVC2012 project for CustomHTTPService has been fixed to properly exclude the files from the build. Tags: XML Licenses: Code Project Open License, MIT/X
